南華禪寺 - 禪宗祖庭
2014年8月27日，中國著名古寺南華禪寺住持-傳正法師及福建揭陽五星級緬甸玉雕工廠-張廠長邀請，
參予打造釋迦牟尼佛骨舍利安奉地宮的地基舍利座，釋迦牟尼佛骨舍利是由尼泊爾藍毗尼中華寺迎請，
須將佛骨舍利、阿羅漢舍利、佛殊勝七寶珍品封存舍利玉座中，埋入地基中央地宮，舉行安座儀式後原
地建造高108公尺的萬佛寶塔，寶塔內將供奉釋迦牟尼舍利和一萬尊緬甸玉佛，所來代表一佛出世，萬
佛護持 之意詳。
佛教敬仰和崇拜舍利，是從佛祖釋迦牟尼的舍利開始。佛祖火葬後，遺下有舍利一石六斗，其中有一塊
頭頂骨、兩塊骨、四顆佛牙，還有中指指骨舍利和84000顆珠狀真身舍利子。古印度的八位國王派使者
到火葬地，要求分給佛舍利，經香姓婆羅門居中協商平分給八位國王。各國把分到的舍利帶回國建塔安
葬，並定期舉行祭禮。香姓婆羅門及必波延那婆羅門，就各取了裝舍利的瓶子和火葬燃餘炭灰回去起塔

南華禪寺是佛教最著名的古佛寺，西元502年由梁武帝創建，歷經1500年，禪宗六祖慧能在此寺弘法，
發展了禪宗，讓南華禪寺成為佛教的禪宗祖庭，而南華寺內保存著六祖惠能涅槃後的真身，至今依然保
護完整，被列為佛教歷史重點古文物之一，也是法鼓山聖嚴法師，中台禪寺惟覺和尚以及佛光山星雲法
師參佛拜謁之地，是為禪宗發源起始之處。
